Helm at Immingham: planning application marks start of strategic development.
Date
4th July
We are proud to have delivered geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering services in support of Associated British Ports’ (ABP) ambitious development at the newly named Helm @ Immingham site.
ABP has recently submitted a planning application for 103,000 square feet of multi-let industrial and logistics space—marking the first phase of development at this strategically significant 227-acre site. This milestone reflects ABP’s strong confidence in the future of the Grimsby-Immingham area and its vision for regional growth.
This site lays the foundation for a critical supply of modern, purpose-built industrial units that will support local and regional economic development. The site, formerly agricultural farmland, is ideally located adjacent to the A180 dual carriageway, providing direct access to Grimsby and the wider motorway network. It also benefits from connectivity to the Humber Link Road, enhancing its logistical appeal.
We’re excited to be part of a project that is set to transform this key location into a thriving hub for industry and logistics.
