Topping out milestone reached at Mansfield Community Diagnostic Centre.
Date
16th April
We’re proud to be delivering civil and structural engineering services for the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Mansfield Community Hospital, which has now reached a major construction milestone.
The project recently celebrated its topping out, marking the completion of the steel frame. With 760 individual steel components weighing a total of 160 tonnes, the structure is now fully in place and progressing into the next phase.
This milestone follows the demolition of the former Victoria Hospital and signals the transition to external works, which will make the building weather-tight and ready for internal fit-out.
We’re pleased to be supporting this important NHS development, which will bring state-of-the-art diagnostic services to the local community.
