Kent Street Baths

This build-to-rent scheme situated on a former swimming baths site in the heart of Birmingham city comprises 154 one bedroom, 228 two bedroom and 24 three bedroom apartments contained within 7, 8, 10 and 18 storey buildings. The design features green roofs, vast shared resident amenity areas and a beautifully landscaped central courtyard with a community hub. Underneath the tallest block there is a basement car park for 95 vehicles as well as ground level commercial space. The site is bounded by the public highway on all four sides and therefore the basement structure had to be carefully designed to ensure it could be constructed without causing instability to the highway.
